Eating with your eyes is the ultimate appetizer.
Enjoying what you eat is a luxury. I never lose sight of that or my good fortune to celebrate great food through my recipe development and food styling. I style every recipe as if I were going to eat it myself. I have always instinctively arranged food on my plate. When I was a teenager, someone sitting next to me at a holiday dinner once said, "Why is it that I'm having the same thing you're having, but I want to eat what's on your plate?"
